Hutchison Ports is the world’s leading port network with operations in 53 ports across 24 countries in Asia, the Middle East, Africa, Europe, the Americas, and Australasia.  We employ more than 30,000 staffs around the world. Our journey began in 1866 as the Hong Kong and Whampoa Dock Company, constructing and repairing ships. By 1969, we diversified into cargo and container handling and became Hongkong International Terminals Limited (Hutchison Ports HIT). In 1994, we founded Hutchison Port Holdings Limited (Hutchison Ports) and started expanding globally.

Hutchison Ports today offers much more than container terminal services. We cover the entire logistics chain, including feeder services general cargo and bulk shipping, rail services, and distribution centers to name a few. In 2016, we launched our new brand: Hutchison Ports – the World’s Leading Port Network, signifying a key strategy to better reflect the company’s position in a rapidly changing world of ports and logistics. The new brand underlines our long-established commitment to operate as a true global network and continued delivery of the highest standards of service to customers and partners. The new logo represents a horizon line between sea and sky, rising to reflect progress and the ambition that drives us forward. The horizon indicates a meeting point – the coming together of people, partners, knowledge, experience and expertise in one world-class network.
